BF&M Ltd. rose 0.4 percent (five cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 29,834 shares to close at $12.30.

The only other traders were Butterfield Bank, which saw 5,800 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.50, and KeyTech Ltd., which remained unchanged at $7.05 as 93 shares were transacted.

Overall the Index climbed 0.35 points (0.03 percent) to 1,259.35, with 35,727 shares worth $377,069.65 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, closed down 14 points (1.48 percent) at 935.
