BNTB bounces back

Butterfield Bank bounced back from its recent slide, climbing 25 cents (five percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank ended the day on $5.25, with 13,082 shares traded.

The only other trader was KeyTech Ltd., which saw 100 shares change hands, but its share value held firm at $9.50.

The Index, overall, was up 43.68 points (1.94 percent) at 2,297.63, with 13,182 shares worth $66,635 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, inched up 7.7 points (1.01 percent) to 762.71.
