Butterfield Bank saw its share price drop 25 cents (4.54 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank closed the day at $5.25, with 19,200 shares traded.

LOM (Holdings) Ltd. also saw 5,000 shares change hands as its share value declined by five cents (1.38 percent) to $3.50.

BELCO Holdings Ltd. was the only other trader, with 200 shares being transacted, but its price held firm at $16.25.

Overall, the Index slipped 44.27 points (1.87 percent) to 2,327.01, as 24,400 shares worth $123,610 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 3.17 points (0.38 percent) to 820.91.
