Butterfield Bank fell 10 cents (2.94 percent) to $3.30 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 17,420 shares during the day.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd., meanwhile, rose five cents (0.55 percent) to $9, with 1,000 shares changing hands.

The only other trader was Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd., which transacted 1,500 shares, but its share price remained unchanged at $7.50.

The Index, as a whole, dipped 15.58 points (0.76 percent) to 2,044.17, as 19,920 shares worth $78,533 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 3.79 points (0.4 percent) at 946.35.
