Butterfield Bank continued its recent resurgence, climbing 15 cents (2.8 percent) to $5.60 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank increased by 30 cents on Wednesday and yesterday traded 6,007 shares.

The only other trader was KeyTech Ltd., which saw 1,509 shares change hands, but its value held firm at $9.50.

The Index, as a whole, was up 26.21 points (1.11 percent) at 2,382.59, as 7,516 shares worth $47,125.40 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index also finished the day up 7.16 points (one percent) at 721.97.
