Butterfield Bank's rights to buy shares for $1.21 rose 16.66 percent (one cent) to seven cents on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 4,083,193 rights during the day.

Elsewhere, KeyTech Ltd. dropped 10.25 percent (80 cents) to $7, as 3,500 shares changed hands.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. meanwhile, transacted 4,400 shares to climb 1.05 percent (15 cents) to $14.40.

The Index, as a whole, fell 13.25 points (0.99 percent) to 1,323.18, with 4,091,093 shares worth $331,866.02 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped one point (0.09 percent) to 1,003.
