Butterfield Bank's common share continued their topsy turvy week, falling 12.5 percent (25 cents) to $1.75 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).

The the bank closed at $1.75, with 13,100 shares traded.

The only other trader was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which saw 2,200 shares change hands, but its share price remained unchanged at $7.75.

Overall the Index dipped 80.68 points (4.98 percent) to 1,538.13, as 15,300 shares worth $40,225 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index also shed 1.99 points (0.2 percent) to close at 986.04.
