BNTB shares drop

Butterfield Bank proved to be the busiest trader on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank's preference shares dropped $20 (1.6 percent) to $1,205, with 100 shares traded, while 2,800 common shares changed hands as the share price fell 15 cents (3.1 percent) to $4.75.The Index as a whole also declined 26.21 points (1.15 percent) to 2,256.85, with 2,800 shares worth BD$13,330 and 100 shares worth US$121,500 transacted.

The Index as a whole also declined 26.21 points (1.15 percent) to 2,256.85, with 2,800 shares worth BD$13,330 and 100 shares worth US$121,500 transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index slid 1.29 points (0.13 percent) to 972.88.
