BNTB shares slide
Butterfield Bank was the biggest mover on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.
The bank fell 14.3 percent (25 cents) to $1.50, with 31,933 shares traded.
KeyTech Ltd. also dropped 3.8 percent (30 cents) to $7.50, as 1,200 shares changed hands.
But MediaHouse Ltd. was up 5.5 percent (55 cents) at $10.55, with 251 shares transacted, and BF&M Ltd. rose 0.4 percent (five cents) to $12.55, as 2,262 shares were traded.
Other traders included the Ascendant Group Ltd. (3,500 shares), Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (1,606), Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. (130) and Butterfield Bank's preference shares (79). All of their share prices remained unchanged.
The Index, as a whole, dipped 122.5 points (9.63 percent) to 1,271.97, with 37,382 shares worth BD$100,326.05 and 4,074 shares worth US$148,135.75 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index increased four points (0.43 percent) to 930.
