Butterfield Bank's common shares dropped 3.44 percent (five cents) to $1.40 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank also saw 2,000 shares change hands during the day, as well as transacting 912,550 rights issue shares and five preference shares.

Elsewhere Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. declined 0.99 percent (five cents) to $5, with 100 shares traded.

BF&M Ltd. also fell 0.73 percent (10 cents) to $13.50, as 2,200 shares changed hands.

Overall, the Index dipped 17.36 points (1.3 percent) to 1,315, with 1,916,850 shares worth BD$173,613.11 and five shares worth US$6,055 traded.
