Butterfield Bank's common shares continued to decline, falling 6.45 percent (10 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 54,925 shares to close at $1.45.

The only other trader was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which saw five shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $7.75.

Overall, the Index dipped 32.27 points (2.2 percent) to 1,433.45, with 54,930 shares worth $81,418.75 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 4.09 points (0.41 percent) at 991.81.
