BNTB slides again
Butterfield Bank shares dropped another 30 cents (5.17 percent) yesterday, to complete a dramatic 90-cent slide last week on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX).
The bank saw its share price decline to $5.50, with 101,055 shares traded.
Utilities was the busiest sector, as KeyTech Ltd. and Belco Holdings Ltd. underwent rises of 45 cents (4.71 percent) and 20 cents (1.25 percent) respectively.
KeyTech closed the day on $10, with 7,500 shares changing hands, while Belco transacted 100 shares to finish up on $16.20.
Bermuda Aviation Services also traded 100 shares to climb five cents (0.9 percent) to $5.55.
Overall, the Index dropped 36.61 points (1.5 percent) to 2,404.32, with 108,755 shares worth $631,897 being transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index slipped 6.86 points (0.95 percent) to 714.81.
