Butterfield Bank was the only trader on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) as the Index closed at 1,244.25 yesterday.

The bank traded 1,207 common shares and 80 preference shares, but its share prices remained unchanged at $1.45 and $1,200 respectively.

The Index, as a whole, saw 1,207 shares worth BD$1,749.45 and 80 shares worth US$94,213.33 change hands.

But the BSX Insurance Index fell four points (0.42 percent) to 939.
