The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) arrested its recent slide with a quiet day yesterday.

The Index opened and closed the day on 2,404.32, with 75 shares worth $412.50 traded. All of the shares were in Butterfield Bank, but the bank's share price held firm at $5.50.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, finished down 6.86 points (0.95 percent) at 714.81.
