The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) rose 26.21 points (1.26 percent) to 2,108.67 yesterday.

The Index saw 750 shares worth $2,965 traded during the day.

The only trader was Butterfield Bank, which transacted 750 shares, but its share price held firm at $3.95.

The BSX Insurance Index was also up 8.44 points (0.89 percent) at 954.29.
