BSX holds steady

The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) remained unchanged last week, opening and closing at 1,244.25.The Index traded 49,329 shares worth BD$111,056.85 and 288 shares worth US$46,692.50.Butterfield Bank was one of the biggest traders, seeing 45,507 common and 38 preference shares change hands.

The Index traded 49,329 shares worth BD$111,056.85 and 288 shares worth US$46,692.50.
Butterfield Bank was one of the biggest traders, seeing 45,507 common and 38 preference shares change hands.
BF&M Ltd. also transacted 2,100 shares, while KeyTech Ltd. and the Ascendant Group Ltd. traded 1,000 and 722 shares respectively.
All of their share prices held firm.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, rose four points (0.42 percent) to 943.
