The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) opened and closed at 2,052.9 yesterday.

There were 2,041 shares worth BD$6,827.35 and 20 shares worth US$24,748.89 during the day.

Butterfield Bank traded 2,041 common shares to finish on $3.35 and 20 preference shares, which remained unchanged at $225.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, fell 24.29 points (2.56 percent) to 922.06.
