The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) opened and closed at 2,125.83 with 2,000 shares worth $8,200 traded yesterday.

All of the shares were Butterfield Bank common shares, but the bank's share price remained unchanged at $4.10.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 8.5 points (0.88 percent) to 963.9.
