The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) held steady yesterday, with no share prices changing value.

The Index as a whole opened and closed on 3,489.59, with a total of 9,718 shares worth $106,631.50 changing hands.

The only traders were Butterfield Bank (9,518 shares) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (200), but both of their share values remained unchanged.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 5.25 points (0.61 percent) to 849.92.
