The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) dropped 2.25 points (0.18 percent) during the week to close at 1,218.57.

The Index traded 43,246 shares worth BD$173,350.65 and 2,026 shares worth US$49,730.

The BSX Insurance Index edged up four points (0.43 percent) to 944.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 1.4 percent (20 cents) to $13.80 with 8.966 shares traded , while Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. was also down one percent (10 cents) at $9.90 as 200 shares changed hands.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank, which transacted 34,041 common shares and 36 preference shares, and KeyTech Ltd., which traded 39 shares, but all of their shares prices held firm.
