Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. rose 50 cents (4.54 percent) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The publisher closed the day at $11.50 with 1,000 shares traded.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank, which saw 9,025 common shares and 324 preference shares change hands, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd. transacted 3,050 shares and the Ascendant Group Ltd. 100 shares, but all of their share prices remained unchanged.

Overall the Index was up 1.23 points (0.06 percent) at 2,110.15, with 13,175 shares worth BD$75,082.50 and 324 shares worth US$403,991 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 7.46 points (0.78 percent) to 942.75.
