BSX slides 70 points

The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) slumped 69.89 points (three percent) to 2,259.03 yesterday.The Index traded 50,700 shares worth $253,600, while the BSX Insurance Index finished the day up 15.07 points (1.86 percent) at 825.18.Among the traders were Butterfield Bank's preference and common shares, with 695 and 50,700 shares being traded in each respectively.
