Butterfield Bank saw 357 common shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $5.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. also transacted 31 shares, with the utility company's share value also remaining unchanged at $16.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 1.99 points (0.2 percent) to 974.17.
