The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) saw 33,670 shares worth $139,374.85 change hands yesterday, but remained unchanged at 2,204.44.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, closed down 3.94 points (0.51 percent) lower at 766.48.

The biggest traders were Butterfield Bank (32,897 shares), Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. (700), Belco Holdings Ltd. (57) and Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (16), but their share price all held firm.
