BSX's day of losses
It proved to be a day of losses on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday, with no fewer than three companies seeing their share prices fall.
Belco Holdings Ltd. was hardest hit, dropping $2 (11.11 percent) to close on $16, with 2,800 shares traded.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd. declined 70 cents (5.51 percent) to $12, as 700 shares changed hands, while BF&M Ltd. transacted 2,000 shares as it share value lost 25 cents (1.31 percent) to $18.70.
Butterfield Bank, however, saw its share price rise 15 cents (1.28 percent) to $12, with 45,400 shares traded.
The only other trader was KeyTech Ltd., which experienced 1,000 shares change hands.
Overall the Index fell 40.46 points (1.06 percent) to 3,771.18, as 51,900 shares worth $639,645 were traded.
The BSX Insurance Index also finished down 0.57 percent at 747.34.
