Butterfield Bank, Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and the Ascendant Group Ltd. were among the main traders on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

Butterfield Bank traded 15 preference shares worth $250 each and 80 common shares worth $5 each.

Argus also saw 1,300 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $10, while the Ascendant Group transacted 614 shares worth $16 each.

As a whole, the Index opened and closed at 2,374.43, with 1,994 shares worth BD$23,153 and 15 shares worth US$18,300 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 4.58 points (0.48 percent) to 944.58.
