It proved to be a busy day on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

Belco Holdings Ltd. rose five cents (0.2 percent) to close at $21.05, with 1,000 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank, however, dropped five cents (0.3 percent) to finish on $15.95, as 5,000 shares changed hands.

BF&M Ltd. (4,200), KeyTech Ltd. (2,000), Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (1,600) and Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (1,000) were also active, but none of their share prices changed.

Overall the index dipped 7.82 points (0.16 percent) to 4,767.54, with a total of 14,800 shares worth $243,025 being transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index also finished down by 25.16 points (2.8 percent) at 873.41.
