Butterfield Bank saw its share price rise five cents (0.43 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank finished up at 11.50 with 1,270 shares traded.

The only other trader was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which experienced 101 shares changing hands, but its share value held firm at $10.

The Index edged up 8.74 points (02.4 percent) at 3,585.74, with 1,371 shares worth $15,510.40 being transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index was also up 0.74 points at 803.2.
