Butterfield climbs

Butterfield Bank recovered from its recent slump as its share price bounced back by five cents (0.38 percent) to close at $12.95 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index yesterday.
The bank traded 72,158 shares throughout the day.
The only other trader was Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which saw 1,000 shares change hands, but its share price held firm.
The Index, as a whole, finished up 8.74 points (0.21 percent) at 4,074.56, with 73,158 shares worth $943,615.75 transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 0.5 percent to 1,004.38.
