Butterfield Bank boosted its share price by 10 cents (two percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank finished the day at $5.10, with 10,200 shares traded.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. also rose 10 cents (1.44 percent) to $7, as 6,000 shares changed hands.

But Belco Holdings Ltd. fell 10 cents (0.63 percent) to $15.75, with 100 shares transacted.

The Index, as a whole, advanced 19.43 points (0.86 percent) to 2,286.18, with 16,3— shares worth $95,015 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index of the Island's leading international insurance companies surged 2.39 percent to 793.23.
