Butterfield Bank dropped 10 cents (0.86 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank fell to $11.50 with 2,917 shares traded.

Other traders included Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (9,500 shares), KeyTech Ltd. (1,900), BF&M Ltd. (1,200), Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda Ltd. (1,000) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (500), but their share prices remained unchanged.

Overall the Index dropped 17.47 points (0.48 percent) to 3,585.74, as 17,017 shares worth $182,532.20 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 5.76 points at 838.03.
