Improved communication and business writing skills will be the focus for a series of workshops held by Performance Solutions Ltd. over the coming weeks.

The first class, entitled 'Writing for High-Speed Readers', which aims to help participants produce documents that are easy for high-speed readers to scan, understand and act on quickly and efficiently, was held this week.

The 'Business Writing' course will take place on May 18 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will look at using a proven strategy to produce clear and concise letters and memos consistently.

The third and final seminar, 'Working with Communication Styles', will be held on June 16 from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., with an emphasis on increasing awareness of communication styles, and accepting and adapting to differences to achieve the best results.

Each session will be held at the Inspiration Office, AF Smith, the Continental Building, first floor, 25 Church Street, Hamilton.

The 'Working with Communication Styles' course costs $300 and the 'Business Writing' $500.
