Devonshire Industries saw its share price rise by 11.6 percent ($1.45) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The consumer company traded 600 shares to close the day at $13.95.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 1,025 of its common shares change hands, but its share value held firm.

Overall, the Index increased 1.14 points (0.05 percent) to 2,163.69, as 1,625 shares worth $12,695 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index was also up 15.28 points (1.79 percent) at 865.25.
