Devonshire slides

Devonshire Industries Ltd. plunged 27.77 percent ($2.50) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.
The company, which owns Bermuda Paint, closed the day at $6.50, with 1,500 shares traded.
Meanwhile Butterfield Bank's common shares fell 5.88 percent (10 cents) to $1.60, with 83,700 shares transacted, and Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also slipped 4.71 percent (25 cents) to $5.05, as 2,000 shares changed hands.
The Index, as a whole, dropped 35.4 points (2.33 percent) to 1,486.59, with 87,259 shares worth $154,321.50 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index was up 6.09 points (0.61 percent) at 992.13.
