Devonshire Industries Ltd. rose 27.65 percent ($1.95) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The owner of Bermuda Paint traded 900 shares to close at $9.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 3,230 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.50.

The Index, as a whole, was up 0.74 points (0.06 percent) at 1,259, with 4,130 shares worth $12,949.50 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index climbed 2.3 points to 936.
