Insurance buzzing

Insurance proved to be the busiest sector on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday, with Argus Group (Holdings) Ltd. boosting its share price, but BF&M Ltd. seeing its value decline.
Argus closed up 15 cents (1.51 percent) at $10.05, with 9,500 shares traded, but BF&M dropped 25 cents (1.44 percent) to $17, as 2,385 shares changed hands.
Other traders included Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (2,000 shares) and Butterfield Bank (170), but their share values held firm.
The Index as a whole finished up 2.06 points (0.06 percent) at 3,491.65, with 4,395 shares worth $51,180.75 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, declined 16.68 points (2.03 percent) to 804.63.
