Walker Christopher Ltd.'s Front Street jewellery store is to close for the next five weeks or so for renovations.

Yesterday, work was going on in the empty interior of the premises, at 9 Front Street, opposite the Bank of Bermuda's head office.

A notice in the window states that the company apologises for inconvenience to its customers, adding: "We will be unable to do any repairs, custom work or appraisals until this location reopens at the end of February."

Walker Christopher's retail branch, in the Emporium Building at 69 Front Street, remains open.
