KeyTech Ltd. dropped 2.09 percent (15 cents) to $7 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 5,500 shares during the day.

But the Ascendant Group Ltd. rose 1.72 percent (25 cents) to $14.75, with 100 shares transacted, following the publication of a successful set of half-yearly results on Thursday.

Butterfield Bank also saw 6,709 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.50.

Overall the Index was up 0.32 points (0.03 percent) at 1,275.07, as 12,309 shares worth $50,233.50 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 17 points (1.75 percent) to 986.
