KeyTech Ltd. rose 10.24 percent (85 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 370 shares to close at $9.15.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. also climbed 0.67 percent (10 cents) to $14.85, with 3,215 shares changing hands.

BF&M Ltd., meanwhile, advanced 6.78 percent (95 cents) to $14.95, as 218 shares were transacted.

But Butterfield Bank's common shares slipped 2.5 percent (five cents) to $1.95, with 12,600 shares traded.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd., which declared a cash dividend of 10 cents per share yesterday, transacted 900 shares during the day.

The Index, as a whole, was up 11.8 points (0.74 percent) to 1,602.34, as 17,303 shares worth BD$86,045.95 and 2,000 shares worth US$21,300 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index inched up 0.57 percent to 995.55.
