Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda Ltd. dropped 50 cents (8.3 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The fast food franchise closed the day at $5.50, with 5,064 shares traded.

The only other traders were Belco Holdings Ltd. and Butterfield Bank, which saw 318 and 105 shares change hands respectively.

Overall, the Index slipped 0.55 points (0.02 percent) to 2,352.67, as 5,487 shares worth $33,618.50 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index also fell 5.02 points (0.63 percent) to 789.05.
