KFC on the slide

Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda was the biggest decliner on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday, falling 50 cents (8.33 percent) to $5.50.
The fast food franchise traded 5,564 shares during the day.
But Belco Holdings Ltd. rose by 10 cents (0.61 percent) to $16.35, with 4,518 shares changing hands.
Butterfield Bank led the way in terms of shares transacted, as 84,573 shares were traded, followed by KeyTech Ltd (2,500 shares) and Devonshire Industries Ltd. (1,360).
Overall, the Index closed the week up 1.28 points (0.05 percent) at 2,363.23, with 98,515 shares worth $602,000.70 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index was also up 5.52 points (0.69 percent) at 794.29.
