MediaHouse rose $5.50 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The media company closed the day at $13.50, with 254 shares traded.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 120,418 common shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.45.

The Index, as a whole, rose 3.59 points (0.26 percent) to 1,398.92, as 120,672 shares worth $178,226 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dipped 1.34 points (0.13 percent) to 999.22.
