MediaHouse Ltd. shares rose 5.5 percent (55 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The media company traded 251 shares to close at $10.55.

The only other traders were Butterfield Bank and Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd., which saw 300 and 130 shares change hands respectively, to close at $1.60 and $9.87 respectively.

BF&M Ltd. meanwhile, transacted 52 shares, but its share price held firm at $12.55.

Overall the Index was up slightly by 0.23 points (0.02 percent) at 1,325.2.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped nine points (0.96 percent) to 926.
