The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) opened and closed at 2,008.64 on Thursday before the Easter break. The Index traded 12,324 shares worth $50,339.50.

The only trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 12,324 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $4.10.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, finished up 1.14 percent at 775.87.
