Bermuda-based OneBeacon Insurance Group has signed a partnership agreement with Frontline Underwriters to offer a new motor truck cargo programme for transportation customers.

OneBeacon said that the new coverage will be available in nine states including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

The motor truck cargo protection is available with the programme, including standard inland marine coverages and programme features like expediting expenses, off-board and on-board electronic equipment and on-board supplies.

OneBeacon inland marine vice-president and director Don Keahon said that Frontline's preeminence in the motor truck segment complements the company's focus on the specialty business.

"Through the company's combined expertise, and enhanced coverages it will offer total motor truck cargo solution for transportation market in southeast and Texas," Mr. Keahon said.
