Stevedoring Services Ltd. dropped 34.3 percent ($2.35) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The transportation company traded 1,000 shares to close at $4.50.

The Ascendant Group Ltd., however, rose 1.72 percent (25 cents) to $14.75, with 1,960 shares changing hands.

Butterfield Bank also traded 15,900 shares, but its share price held firm at $1.49.

The Index, as a whole, fell 0.32 points (0.03 percent) to 1,263.89, as 18,860 shares worth $57,249 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 14 points (1.38 percent) to 1,000.
