SwiftJet promotes Bermuda as top business destination
Bermuda is being promoted as a top destination for executives by Canadian private jet charter company SwiftJet Inc.
The company, which put out a news release on the wires, said that the Island was popular with jet-setting businessmen enjoying the benefits of a private flight.
The release described Bermuda as seeing a "hub of activity" and quoted the Bermuda International Business Association (BIBA) as saying the main attraction of doing business on the Island was its established reputation as a financial centre and its well-regulated locale making it the ideal place to do business, in addition to boasting a client base that includes many of the world's blue-chip companies and high net worth individuals.
"When executives charter private jets they want to maximise their best assets, employees and time," said Bassam Al-Sarraj, president and a pilot of SwiftJet Inc.
"Being able to travel on your own schedule down to the minute is essential, and that's the flexibility of private jet charter."
