Utilities buzzing

Utilities proved to be the busiest sector on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
Watlington Waterworks Ltd. boosted its share price by $1 (7.69 percent) to $14, with 500 shares traded, while KeyTech Ltd. increased its share value 70 cents (five percent) to $14.70, as 820 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank also saw its stock rise 20 cents (1.26 percent) to $15.95, with 700 shares transacted.
A total of 400 shares were also traded by Belco Holdings Ltd.
Overall the Index was up 53.37 points (1.13 percent) at 4,792.36, with 2,420 shares worth $38,765 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, inched up 21.44 points (2.45 percent) to 894.85.
