NEW YORK (Associated Press) - Marketing company VistaPrint Ltd. on Thursday said that lawsuits have been brought against VistaPrint USA Inc., VistaPrint Corp. and two third party merchants, in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.

VistaPrint said the plaintiffs allege violations of the federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act and the federal Electronic Communications and Privacy Act.

The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount of damages, including compensatory and punitive damages and injunctive relief, VistaPrint said in a statement.

VistaPrint said it plans to "defend these matters vigorously".

Bermuda-based VistaPrint provides marketing products for small businesses worldwide.
