WHH plunges 22%
West Hamilton Holdings Ltd. plunged 22.6 percent ($2.20) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.
The consumer company closed at $7.55, with 700 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank also slipped 9.1 percent (15 cents) to $1.50, as 14,300 shares changed hands.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. fell 0.5 percent (five cents) to $9.55, with 600 shares transacted.
Meanwhile the Ascendant Group Ltd. dropped 1.4 percent (20 cents) to $13.60, as 4,400 shares were traded.
But KeyTech Ltd. rose 0.7 percent (five cents) to $7.05, as 1,800 shares were transacted.
The only other trader was BF&M Ltd., which saw 1,800 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $12.25.
The Index, as a whole, slid 75.34 points (5.66 percent) to 1,256.93, with 23,600 shares worth $127,595 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index also dipped five points (0.55 percent) to 911.
